This WEEK in FUN episode 6!

And now, a request. Martin, Leo, and I want very much to make TWiF a regular show, with sponsors, downloadable video if you miss it, an RSS feed, the works. The only thing that holds us back is a lack of resources. The TWiT folks are really busy with their current shows, but we're trying to figure out a good solution. Although linking you to the above video is definitely better than nothing, it's time we step things up a notch (and take the pressure off of odtv.me to do the work for us!). net@night episode 87!

Recently I got an email from Amber Macarthur asking me if I wouldn't mind filling in for her for a few weeks on net@night, the weekly internet-centric program she hosts with Leo Laporte. The reason? She was just days away from giving birth to her son, Connor, and (rightly) figured her free time would be compromised juuuuust a tad.

I was happy to oblige because I 1) love net@night, and 2) respect Amber's work a lot. We obviously have a ton in common and I find many similarities in our respective career paths. Isn't it funny that we've never actually met in person?

LeVar & Sarah ... Destiny?

Huzzah! I finally located one of my favorite TV interviews ever: LeVar Burton from January, 2006! Thanks to G4 for being so cool and keeping everything archived for me. :)

It's funny, I've done so many interviews over the years that watching this again I can tell from my body language that I was really nervous. I've always been a big fan, and I wanted terribly for LeVar to like me. Think he did? You never know with actors...

Also, pay no attention to my pink hair. IT WAS AN EXPERIMENT, PEOPLE.

I feel like Martin and I are really starting to hit our stride, plus it's always a bonus to have Leo chime in during the show. Oh, and if you're unfamiliar with Tweet Beat, it's a little game we used to play when I was a guest on Martin and Jay Speiden's show, Internet Superstar. Those were some days, I tell ya!
