Woo Hoo! Congrats on your new contracts. Hopefully I'll finally see a live taping now that the studios are in L.A. If you guys want a nice beach pad check out the Hermosa Beach area. There are lots of young people there & a lot of great bars & restaurants on the boardwalk! = )
I just moved to LA 2 months ago, I choosed Calabasas because its away from it all, but a 5 min drive to Malibu and PCH.. yeh I cant wait to see a live taping now!
Beach Pad in Malibu with G4 money, hmmmm, maybe try Fox or ABC. Good luck, I was in LA for two years, love the beach, hate the traffic, love the warmth, hate the smog, love the Ocean, hate the quakes, and while we were there, we had a bit of all the above.

Beach cities are usually way overpriced in LA. I was paying $1240 a month for a one bedroom apartment when I was living in Westwood (Santa Monica Adjacent) when I was going to school. There are nice suburbs that are minutes away from the beach (like Torrance, Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills ) that are a stone's throw away from LA. Commutes from the south into the city are not as bad as commutes from the north or the valley.

I use xml in applications too and I could provide some consulting if needed.
Tremendous news! Congratulations. While not as artsy as SF, LA can be very nice. Traffic is a nightmare though. Try to get a place close to work or examine carefully your commute routes. I loved LA when I lived there. I lived in the Baldwin Hills and West Hollywood areas. I was 20 min from the mountains and 20 min from the seashore. Great life.
HeyI want to find a good RSS Reader for OUTLOOK 2003(free, please). I've done a google search, I found Intravnews, and I don't like that one, becuase it wouldn't let me create a new account, everytime I tried, it would say "No RSS feeds" or something like that. I LOVE NewsGator, but it costs $30. So if you have any suggestions, please help....

Alright its time for the longly not antcipated return of the Dark Magicain. My breif, breif in the terms of actualy space/time, was school related and thus ive sadly missed out on much of the life and times our fav TSS Femme Fatale. Im happy to see that she and Kevin will be making the be hop skip and jump over to LA. Hopefully most of the rest of the crew we have grown to love will also be able to make the transition. Good luck on trying to get a good house, or appartment, or whatever.

They have Leo back, well sorta. For all of you lucky enough to be up in G4TechTv Canada your in for a treat really soon. Call for Help will return and will be hosted by the hardest working man in tech, Leo Laporte. If you go to G4techtv.com they have a clip of him announcing his return and that he will taping in lovley Toronto.

I'm happy for you guys, your show is the only reason I still watch G4TechTV. Now that you guys have contracts, tell TechTV's stunt double (G4) that no one in the world want's to watch other people play video games. Good Luck!
What about Dan, why is he leaving? He brought a good balance to the show. I'm afraid the G4 TechTV merge will astrange many past TechTV viewers. However, good luck Kevin and Sarah.
I'm sorry but Dan is a complete plank, as in wooden. He looks so uncomfortable in front of the camera. He should go get a 9-5. Or work in a coffee shop or something!

My bro found a pad in Venice right on the boardwalk within week with the Craigs List. Very nice place with a very resonable rent.

I am sure it was a tough decision to leave the San Francisco, the town, the people, your co-workers, your friends, and your family.
Many fans (including myself) have mixed feelings due the the loyalities we have built over the years with our virtual family members.
Hopefully everything will work out for everyone.
Now...if only G4 would reinstate the late night rerun, I could actually...y'know...watch the show.
