Haha, man, it's crazy the kind of discussion is sparked as soon as someone mentions the election. For the record: I'm not the one that said 18-year-olds shouldn't vote (in fact, I'm 18 myself). I also think it's an unfair blanket statement to say that 18-year-olds shouldn't vote because they're stupid and uneducated. I've debated politics with plenty of shallow, brain-dead 25- to 30-year olds who couldn't say anything in defense of their position but "Kerry is a flip-flopper!" and "Kerry didn't deserve his medals!"

It is more than obvious in this country that there are two versions of the "truth" nowdays. The country is more divided than we have ever been since vietnam. Media "fact" is based soley on the affiliations of the station you listen to or watch. Personal "opinion" is all valid but completely different for both the democrats or republicans. You can say one side is wrong but then they can quickly jump in and say the same thing about you.

All in all it's turning into the she said he said election.

The vice presidential debates where basically this:

"Mr. vice president, you're wrong""no mister senator you are wrong""I don't know where you got that but you are wrong mr. VP""I'm not wrong you're wrong""No, not me it's you, you're wrong"

and it just went on.....

apparently fact and truth are all disputable now.

So I go with what I feel in my heart and what I see day to day in my life.

And there is no way in hell I'm voting for bush.

here's the sad part though, REALLY sad...

Regardless of my Kerry vote, my state, Alabama WILL GO TO BUSH. My vote will end up being pointless because of the electorial college and regardless of what I vote bush will sweep our redneck dumbass close to his heart state.

ON TOP OF THAT, if Kerry DOES manage to win somehow, I have NO DOUBT that once again Bush and his power totting friends will use every ounce of pull they have to once again rig the election and RAPE THE DEMOCRATIC PROCESS, taking the election ANYFUCKINGWAY.

So that's my point to all this, we are stuck in a Bush administration nightmare again no matter what, and theres no telling how bad things will be in four more years. Last point, EVIL EXISTS. Terror will always exist.
